Five VCL convertibles (John McKay, John Herbert, Bill Treadwell, Terry Bowers, and Charlie Dawson) drove VIPs, and three vehicles represented VCL in the parade (Tom Starnes, Robert Lace, and Walt Ra a). Charlie needed a jump to get the ‘57 red up, and Robert had to threaten his troop carrier with Bio Diesel to get the air brakes to cooperate.
